Air Force Thunderbirds to Headline 2010 Quonset Air Show

The U.S. Air Force flight demonstration team, the world-famous Thunderbirds, will be headlining this year's Rhode Island National Guard Air Show at Quonset State Airport on June 26 & 27, 2010. This is one of the most popular events of the season in the boating community, as the show is spectacular when viewed from the water!

The final lineup for the the upcoming 20th Anniversary Quonset Air Show has not yet been released, but Safe/Sea will keep you up-to-date as more details about this year's show become available. Just to whet your appetite, here's a link to the Thunderbirds' official site.

The Rhode Island National Guard Open House and Air Show was established in 1991 and offers the finest aerial and static displays, along with activities for people of all ages. The show has operated for 18 consecutive years. From its inception, the show has operated with a simple creed; put on a world class show featuring only the best aircraft and pilots and operate the show totally for the benefit of the community. To date, contributions to local charities have exceeded $1,400,000. The Hasbro Children’s Hospital has been the largest beneficiary and has received over $1,200,000 since the show began.

Shockwave is not currently on the schedule.

I cannot find the hours of the day in for the show. When do they stop flying on the 27th?
