Free Action Boat Photo Dates Set for 2010

Safe/Sea is pleased to announce the dates for this season’s Free Action Boat Photo sessions! The first shoot will be held on July 18, 2010 from 1000 hours to 1400 hours off of Rocky Point in Warwick. The second shoot will be held on August 15, 2010 from 1000 hours to 1400 hours off the north tip of Jamestown.

Here’s how it works; Safe/Sea Photographer Cindy Wilson takes your pictures using a professional level DSLR. Safe/Sea photographer-in-residence Phil LeBlanc will download the pictures from the camera and upload the finished photos to our photo hosting website. From this page you will be able to view and download any of your pictures that you wish.

To get your picture taken, simply proceed to the area of the photo shoot and call the “Safe/Sea Photo Boat” on VHF radio channel 18A. You will receive instructions from us over the radio. Please don’t call for photo instructions on Channel 16.

Each participant is responsible for having their member number available when they arrive at the shoot. Your member number is the single easiest way for us to identify you both during the photography and when we make the photos available on the photo site.
