M/V Safe/Sea Salvor to be on Display at 2003 Providence Boat Show, January 9-12, 2003
Visitors to the Providence Boat Show this January will get a rare opportunity to get a close look at the M/V Safe/Sea Salvor. The Salvor is the newest, largest, most capable boat in our fleet and will be replacing the M/V Safe/Sea Point Judith as our boat show diplay vessel. The Point Judith was sold this Fall in order to make room for a new vessel being built this winter.
The M/V Safe/Sea Salvor is a thirty three foot by twelve foot rigid hull inflatabe capable of a top speed of forty knots. She is powered by twin Yanmar 6LYA-UTE turbo diesel engines coupled to twin Hamilton model 274 jet drives. Her electronics include a Furuno 64 mile radar, a Northstar color DGPS chartplotter, three VHF-FM radios, as well as private two way communications and an XM satellite radio.
We encourage members and non members alike to stop by the booth to sign up and renew memberships as well as see one of the industry’s most impressive and prominent boats.
