Safe/Sea Night at Newport Nautical Supply in Wickford

Safe/Sea and Newport Nautical are proud to team up and offer local boaters and especially Safe/Sea members a unique opportunity.

On Saturday May 17, from 7:00-9:00 P.M. Safe/Sea and Newport Nautical’s Wickford store will hold an open house. Both companies are based at Brewer’s Wickford Cove Marina and our close proximity to each other makes this a wonderful opportunity for all who attend.

The night will be especially worth attending for members because both Safe/Sea and Newport Nautical will be offering added incentives for active members. Safe/Sea will offer a free extra month of membership to all members who choose to renew their memberships that night, and Newport Nautical Supply will have many discounts and offers in place for active members. A remarkable 15% discount will be offered store wide. The only exclusions will be bottom paint and electronics; however, these items will also be discounted below regular sale prices.

In addition, there will be a table of specially discounted items and a giveaway of an Icom handheld VHF radio.

Safe/Sea and Newport Nautical are also excited to report that Safe/Sea members will receive a permanent 10% discount at both the Newport Nautical main store in Newport and its sister store in Wickford, provided you show your membership card at the time of purchase.

We feel that this offer, along with the fuel and transient dockage discounts offered to members, shows yet again that Safe/Sea is the best choice for local boaters.

For those of you who have ever wondered where we are and what it is we do, Safe/Sea staff and captains will be on hand to answer all of your questions. We will also be offering those who attend an opportunity to tour our equipment, vessels and our dispatch and communications center. Aside from the Boat Show and chance meetings, there is very little opportunity for our staff and our members to meet in an informal setting, so we look forward to meeting new members and seeing old friends.
