Safe/Sea Posts 150 New Members, 250 Renewals During 2003 Providence Boat Show

Once again this year, Safe/Sea occupied its usual space at the Providence Boat Show. Though not a record year for attendance, Safe/Sea memberships were hot sellers. Over 150 new Safe/Sea members joined our organization at this year’s show, and 250 current members renewed there as well. As usual, all members who joined or renewed at the show received all their membership materials on the spot.

Safe/Sea had a large display at the show featuring the M/V Safe/Sea Salvor, our newest and most capable rescue towboat to date.

In addition, we built new computer workstations for the show, to help showcase our new flat panel iMac computers. There was also a computer slide show of some of this year’s best Safe/Sea photos.

As in years past, we had about 15 members who came to work the show at our booth. This is ideal for us because, we not only make new friends, but we also have people on hand that can share their very own experiences as Safe/Sea Members with other boaters. We’d like to thank everybody who helped out at the show. Without these members and our staff we could not have reached our goals!

Providence Boat Show 2003 was a huge success for exhibitors and attendees alike.
