In our effort to not only practice safety but to promote it as well, Safe/Sea will be giving away a free adult, youth, or child PFD to any new member or any current member renewing for two years at the 2006 Providence Boat Show.

Safe/Sea again chooses Almar Boats and adds to its fleet
In order to better serve the needs of R.I. Boaters, Safe/Sea has recently signed on with Almar Boats to build another rescue boat. Almost an exact twin to the recently delivered S/S Newport, the new boat will be a 35' long Rigid-Hull Inflatable. More details to come soon.

Commissioned by Safe/Sea owner John Andrews, Twenty-first Century Models has designed and built a complete replica of the M/V Safe/Sea Salvor in perfect 1:12 scale. Every detail including engines, drive systems, jet nozzles, electronics, even antennas and graphics have been beautifully reproduced on this stunning model. Safe/Sea Takes Delivery of New Rescue Vessel
The brand new thirty-five foot Safe/Sea Newport arrived in Wickford from Tacoma late in the day on May 3 and was launched the following morning. At launch, the new vessel was immediately taken out for sea-trials by Safe/Sea captains who gave her rave reviews.
Just this past weekend, mother nature brought heavy winds and seas which allowed our experienced staff to see just how well our newest member of the fleet handled and again, she received positive reviews from all that drove her.

"Men of Wickford" calendar, featuring photos from 14 different area businesses will also feature Safe/Sea Captains. Captains Andy Casey, Phil LeBlanc, and Don Johnson will appear in the photo for the month of August to do their part in raising money for local charities.
