Free Action Boat Photo Program Dates Set
Safe/Sea is pleased to announce that this season's Free Action Boat Photo dates have been set! Two shoots are scheduled for Narragansett Bay this year.
Here’s how it works; Safe/Sea Photographer Cindy Wilson takes your pictures using a professional level digital camera purchased by Safe/Sea for this program. Safe/Sea Webmaster Capt. Pete Andrews will download the pictures from the camera and create webpages containing your photos on our website. From this page you will be able to view, download and order prints of any of your pictures that you wish.
Safe/Sea Photographer Cindy Wilson will be on the water and available to take pictures of members' boats on June 12, 2005 from 10 AM to 2 PM near Rocky Point in the Upper Bay, and on September 11, 2005 from 10 AM to 2 PM near the north end of Jamestown in the Lower Bay. The Rocky Point Shoot was completed on June 27, just as this issue of Safe/Sea helpline was mailed.
To get your picture taken, simply proceed to the area of the photo shoot and call the “Safe/Sea Photo Boat” on VHF radio channel 18A. You will receive instructions from us over the radio. Please don't call for photo instructions on Channel 16.
Each order will carry a flat shipping fee of $3.99, regardless of the number of prints ordered. Rhode Island Sales tax of 7% will be added to every order as well.
Every year, the Free Action Boat Photo Program is one of our most popular member benefits. Don’t miss out!
