Regardless of whether you're a seasoned cruiser or just getting into the great sport of boating, we have a boat towing plan that will fit your needs! While most of our plans are geared toward the specific needs of boaters that spend most of their time boating between Westport, MA and Watch Hill, RI, we have something to offer every boater. Safe/Sea Premier

Safe/Sea Premier is our flagship membership plan. It includes the most comprehensive free boat towing benefits available to Rhode Island area boaters and is the plan chosen by over 93% of our current members. Safe/Sea Premier is best suited to boaters that spend the majority of their boating time in Rhode Island Waters, including Narragansett Bay, the Sakonnet River, Mt. Hope Bay, the Taunton River, Rhode Island Sound, and Block Island Sound. If your homeport is in any of the places mentioned above or Point Judith, this plan will fit you like a glove!

Safe/Sea Premier Supplemental

The Safe/Sea Premier Supplemental membership plan is designed for the same type of boater as our flagship Premier membership, but it takes into account any pre-existing towing coverage you might have already. Many boaters already have a limited amount of towing coverage included with their hull insurance, and Safe/Sea Premier Supplemental adds the benefits of a Premier membership on top of whatever coverage you already have. If you know that you have some towing coverage with your hull insurer, you should start by checking out this plan.

Safe/Sea 90

Safe/Sea 90 is a unique towing plan that combines the benefits of a Safe/Sea Premier membership with those of a BoatU.S. membership. BoatU.S. is the Boat Owner's Association of the United States, a national organization that offers a huge variety of services to boaters, including hull insurance, pre-paid towing service, national political representation, excellent boating publications, and more. If you're already a BoatU.S. member, or know that you'd like to combine a BoatU.S. membership with a Safe/Sea membership, then you should consider the Safe/Sea 90 membership.

Safe/Sea Courtesy Card

The Safe/Sea Courtesy Card is a free membership that is a great introduction to everything Safe/Sea has to offer. Should you ever need a tow from Safe/Sea as a non-member, the Courtesy Card will provide you with a small money-saving benefit. In addition, you'll be able to participate in the Safe/Sea Free Action Boat Photo Program and receive our printed and email newsletters. If you're not ready to buy yet, the Safe/Sea Courtesy Card is a great way to get to know us better and keep up with the happenings on the Rhode Island boating scene!

BoatU.S. Unlimited

If you are a boater that spends a great deal of your time underway outside of Rhode Island Waters, we recommend that you purchase a BoatUS Unlimited card. In addition to servicing our local Rhode island members, Safe/Sea is the exclusive provider of on-the-water towing services to all BoatU.S. members in our area of operation; so if you are ever in need of towing as a BoatUS member in our area, we will be the company that provides you with service under your BoatU.S. membership.
